Almost 12 tonnes of Salmon
This year's catch of salmon was very good. The end result shows a total catch of 11,593 kg salmon. It was caught 829 salmon over 7 kg/15,4 pound (47%), 438 salmon between 3 kg/6,6 pound and 7 kg/15,4 pound (25%), and 506 grilse under 3 kg/6,6 (28%). Measured in kg, it is an increase of nearly 3 500 kg from 2009. The best fishing of big salmon were in the period July 1'st to July 15'th, while fishing for medium salmon was the best in the latter half of July. At the beginning of August the catches for grilse increased and were good the last part of the season.![]() |

Good fishing for Seatrout
The fishing for Seatrout was also good, with a total catch of 1286 kg. This is an increase of 412 kg from 2009. The average weight was for this season at 1.45 kg/3,2 pound, with several Seatrouts between 4 kg/8,8 pound and 6 kg/13,2 pound. The best fishing for trout was in late August and early September.![]() |
