How to travel to the River of Reisa
The fastest way from Oslo Gardermoen to Nordreisa
If you travel from abroad or the southern part of Norway, the shortest journey is by plane from Oslo (Gardermoen) to Tromsø. Flight lasts approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes, and both SAS and Norwegian flies this route several times daily. From Tromsø to Sørkjosen you can travel with Widerøe twice daily. Flights from Tromsø to Nordreisa take about 20 min. This means an effective travel time from Oslo to Sørkjosen of about 2.5 hours. Normally you need to calculate some latency at Tromsø airport, so the actual travel time will vary depending on how the correspondence is. In Nordreisa it is possible to rent a car at Storslett Auto. 
If rental car is not an option, it is also possible to take a bus from Alta to Storslett. Remember camera! You will travel through beautiful scenery, including driving through the beautiful Kvænangen council, and pass one of Norway's most spectacular mountain passes, Kvænangsfjellet.
One option is to run the stretch Tromsø-Norkjosbotn (E8)-Skibotn-Kåfjord-Nordreisa (E6). The distance is approximately 240 km, and lasts approximately 3 hours and 15 min.
Alternatively, it is possible to travel from Tromsø to Nordreisa with the car, and take the ferry over Ullsfjorden and Lyngen Fjord. This trip also takes about 3,5 hour, but the distance of this stretch is about 140 km. Effective traveling from Oslo Gardermoen Airport is approximately 5 hours and 10 min. There are also daily bus services on this route. Also on these trips the camera is obligatory!

The second fastest way from Oslo Gardermoen to Nordreisa
As an alternative it is possible to travel by plane from Oslo to Alta, and use of a rental car from Alta to Nordreisa. Fastest flying time from Oslo to Alta is approximately equal flight between Oslo and Tromsø, and both SAS and Norwegian frequent this stretch. Driving time from Alta to Nordreisa is about. 2.5 hours. This option will have an effective travel time of about 4.5 hours. If the flight goes directly from Oslo Gardermoen to Alta, it will in many cases be the shortest travel time to Nordreisa. It is possible to rent a car in Alta with a number of rental agencies.If rental car is not an option, it is also possible to take a bus from Alta to Storslett. Remember camera! The third fastest way from Oslo
Option three is to travel by plane from Oslo Gardermoen to Tromsø Airport (see the fastest route), and continue by car or bus to Storslett. From Tromsø it is possible to rent a car with a number of rental agencies. From Tromsø to Nordreisa it is possible to select two alternative travel routes along the country road.One option is to run the stretch Tromsø-Norkjosbotn (E8)-Skibotn-Kåfjord-Nordreisa (E6). Itineraries for those who have a good time
Addition to travel by plane, it is of course possible to travel to Nordreisa along the E6 from the north and south. It is also possible to drive to Nordreisa by Finland (Kilpisjärvi-Skibotn).
